johnny's 17th

so, I haven't posted in some time. its mainly cause johnny & i get so busy w/ my waitress job & his dx job, & we're always hangin out w/ the gang, so......yeah. a LOT of things have happened since i last posted. 1st off, my parents are moving! they decided that they want to get out of tulsa, so they're moving to new york! this wouldn't affect me @ all, but here's the problem: even though im living w/ johnny, im still only 16, so my mom says i have 2 move 2 new york w/ them! my dad says that he's willing 2 let me stay in tulsa w/ the gang, so there's gonna be a court hearing next friday to decide whether i can stay living w/ johnny or if they have legal custody of me. so, 2nd bit of news: i now have a police record, surprise surprise. i was @ my waitress job, & i was told 2 take these guys' orders. well, i went up 2 the table & got the drink orders, but when i turned 2 leave, 1 of the guys grabbed my frickin ass & said, "why dontcha stay w/ us, baby?" oh, just 2 little things ppl never know about me: 1, i got a black-handled, 7-inch switch from two-bit after johnny & i got jumped, & its always in my back pocket, even @ work, & 2, i fight pretty good for a girl. i had that guy pinned against the wall w/ a bloody nose in about the time it takes you to blink. "touch me again & i'll have the blade against your throat," i threatened, flipping out my switch. he backed off, but some moron called the fuzz, & i got like a week in jail. it wasn't realy all that bad, dally was in there 2, cause he stole a car or sumthin(this was all like 2 weeks ago). surprisingly, i still have my job @ the dingo, i just had 2 change my name tag from "rose" to "rosy", so people wouldn't b terrified w/ me as their waitress. & 3rd bit of news....i kinda don't wanna say this, but.....i learned a little fact about ponyboy that's not so good for me. about a week ago, i was walkin past the kitchen in the curtis' house, when i heard pony say, "johnny? .....what was it like.....having sex w/ rosy?" that shocked the hell out of me, so i decided to listen into the conversation. here's how it went:
johnny: *blushes a little bit* um....honestly....it was pretty nice.
ponyboy: oh....i remember soda was comparing sandy & katie once...he said he like katie better cause sandy tasted like cherries, but katie tasted like pepsi. *laugh*
johnny: where r u getting @ w/ this? you wanna know what rose tastes like to me?
ponyboy: maybe...
johnny: alrite, i know what you're getting at, but for now, i'll humor you. she tastes like chocolate, w/ a little bit of smoke mixed in, cause of her smoking. she says i taste like full-on-smoky caramel. *laugh* now, answr MY question: ...do you want to taste her? (i had 2 cover my mouth 2 keep from gasping or screaming)
*pony looks @ the ground & shuffles his feet*
johnny: don't do that looking-down thing! you can't hide the truth, i see the way you look @ her, the way your gray-green eyes meet her chocolate-night eyes, the way you bit your lip when two-bit confronted her & i, because you were trying 2 hold back tears, because the girl you loved just had sex with your best friend, who's ME! ...you did the same thing @ my wedding, because the girl you loved could then never be yours, because she was, & still is, loving your best friend: ME!
*tears start 2 build up in pony's eyes*
johnny: the gang knows, pony. you can't lie, you can't hide, because we all know the truth that i just found out rite now: you're in love with ROSE! ...my WIFE, pony! don't you know that its WRONG?! its as wrong as if you were in love w/ ME!

i had 2 leave here, cause they were leaving the kitchen. so that's the real story: my husband's best friend is unconditionaly in love w/ me. so, that's all the news. today is johnny's 17th b-day, & we're celebrating tonight. i don't realy wanna go, tho....ive been avoiding pony since the secret got out. i mean, after hearing mine & my husband's best friend say im "pretty damn sexy", i just can't look him in the face. ....im gonna get off here, I need to think....what are we gonna do, johnny?

not much new

heya im back. johnny & i got back from our honeymoon on wednesday, but we've been so busy w/ the gang that i haven't had a chance 2 blog! anyways, johnny started his part-time job @ the DX, rite aftr we got bac. he works @ the counter, & sometimes helps steve w/ the cars. actualy, sumthin realy funny happened @ the DX on saturday....so, i had 2 go up 2 the school for this choir rehearsal thing(im in choir & drama), & i got out @ about 11, & i decided 2 go 2 the DX & visit johnny, steve, & soda. so when I got there, soda was @ the counter, surrounded by A LOT of grls, & johnny was by the soda machine(the damn thing keeps breakin, so soda taught johnny how 2 fix it), tryin 2 fix it, but there's like 5 grls by him! soda looked up, & yelled, "rosy-o! wat's hangin'?" then he noticed johnny was still workin on the pepsi-machine thing, so he yelled, "johnnycake! ur super-important person has arrived! fix the machine later!", throwin a magazine @ johnny.....which hit johnny in the head & caused him 2 spill soda(which realy looked like green sludge) on the floor. i cracked up, i couldn't help it, soda was bein so funny! "wat the hell, soda?! i was tryin 2 fix this, no thx 2.....rose!" johnny yelled, jumpin ovr the counter & giving me a giant hug. the grls looked real confused, & 1 said, "johnny? who's SHE?" i almost choked tryin not 2 laugh. these grls liked johnny?! i thought all the grls went 4 soda! "o, this is rose, she's my.....wife," johnny responded, hookin his arm around my waist. "oh....you're married? oh....ok...lets go, tami..." the grl trudged out very disappointed-like, mutterin 2 her friend, "i can't believe he's married.....he was such a hottie, 2....weird, she kinda looks like him...." aftr they left, i looked @ johnny, & we burst out laffing. "hey, johnny, didja figure out the prob w/ the machine?" soda hopped ovr the counter to escape his crowd of grls. "no....but rose is good w/ machines & fixin stuff, couldja help out, rose?" johnny asked me(its true, btw, im crazy good @ fixin stuff, i 1nce had a little job as a handygrl). "yeah, i guess," i responded, to which soda yelled, "yeah! we got hats 2 help!" ("hats" is my nickname w/ soda & two-bit, cuz i always wear this black biker hat, its like how johnny always wears his jacket) so, i fixed the machine, & johnny said, "awesome, may-b u should work here instead of @ the dingo." so, that's the end of the story, othr than that, not n e thing else happenin. bye-a!

honeymoon in hawaii

well im back, with another new name: mrs. rose violet cade! that's right, the wedding went perfectly, i am now johnny's wife. where should i start? probly the wedding...so, around evening, i went to the curtis' house, & i think the guys took johnny to my parent's house, cause kitkat made johnnycake stay the night with pony, cause she didn't want him to see me until the wedding! haha! bubblegum did my makeup, & kitkat got me in my dress before doin my hair. the dress was strapless, with sparkling rhinestones on top, & for the skirt, it was just layers overlapping, creating this beautiful fairy-tale wedding dress. kitkat also got me these gorgeous heels that matched the dress, with a white bow on each shoe. after gettin me all ready, hair & makeup & all, darry came over to take us in the pickup truck to the park by the church. when darry saw me, he got this surprised look on his face, then said, "you look great, rosy. kitkat & bubblegum did an awesome job." we rode to the park, & it was starting to get dark, so kitkat took me over to get my veil & tiara on before the procession started. she started attachin the veil to my tiara, & she said, "you nervous, rosy? after all, you're only 16, I kno loads of girls that would have never accepted the proposal, let alone get married to a penniless greaser." i was dumbstruck for a minute, then responded, "i couldn't be nervous even if i tried, kitkat. in fact, I could never be happier with my decision. finally, im goin to marry the love of my life, my soulmate, & im gona be with him forever after tonight. think about it, if you met the person you knew you wanted to spend eternity with, wouldn't you choose to marry him, despite challenges, because you would be with him forever?" she stopped & thought about that for a sec, then said, "yeah, you're right, rosy, i would. you sure are right about a lot of things for a 16-yr-old kid. you know, rosy....you look real pretty right now, no wonder johnny chose you. i realy think you guys were made for each other." she finished on that note as she put my tiara on & pulled the veil over my face. "alrite 'princess juliet', ready to marry your prince romeo?" "yup, never more ready than now!" i said, my eyes sparkling with happiness. kitkat & bubblegum led me to the procession, & as the wedding march played, i walked down the aisle, bouquet of white roses & carnations in hand. johnny was standing there with pony & darry, in a tux with a red flower in his lapel, his hair combed out of his eyes for once. ;) his big black eyes shone when he saw me, & i came to a stop facing johnny. darry began to read the vows. "dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..." then came the actual vows. "jonathon robert cade, do you take rose violet white to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness & in health, as long as you both shall live?" "i do," he responded, having never looked happier in his life. "& do you, rose violet white, take jonathon robert cade to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness & in health, as long as you both shall live?" "i-i do," i choked, realizing that i was cryin. "i pronounce this couple, husband & wife," darry concluded, & turnin us to face the crowd, said, "mr. & mrs. cade, everyone. you may kiss the bride!" johnny turned me to face him, & pressed his lips to mine, soft & sweet. everyone clapped, & as johnny led me to the fountain, the stars glistening off my dress & tiara, steve got the stereo, & began to play "tell me soon". we began to dance, swayin back & forth. johnny whispered in my ear as we danced, "you look beautiful, rose. ive never seen anyone like you, so stricken with beauty." "finally, we can be together forever. ...i love you, johnny cade. i always have, & i always will. always...." i trailed off as he kissed me again, whispering, "the one thing socs don't have & can't take away: love as strong as ours. funny, how we met, & look @ us now. " i giggled, rememberin that moment. "i think i'll sit on that pile of newspaper to watch the stars, seems like a good place. ...oh my gosh, its a guy! im sooo sorry, i didn't see you!" he smiled, carryin on the memory. "its cool. hey, haven't seen ya around, what's your name?" "rosalina, but i go by rosy." "rosy, that's a nice name, im johnny. you like watchin the stars?" "yeah, they're real pretty." "mind if i watch em with you, rosy?" "not @ all. you know, johnny, you dig okay. i think we're gonna be real close, real close." we reached the end of the memory as the song ended. "i sit on a guy in the lot, & 3 months later, im marryin him! fate is strange sometimes," i said as we walked to a picnic table, thinkin of the odd way i had met my soulmate. "fate might be strange, but fate is what had us meet." "true..." then pony came over & said, "johnny, i know I'm your best man and all, but can i ditch the monkey suit tux now? im a greaser, not some stuck-up soc!" i laughed at pony's request, watchin him try to get his tie off. .....that's basicaly the wedding in a loophole, johnny & i are on our honeymoon in honolulu now. hawaii is super-pretty, sooo much different than tulsa! the hotel's like a zoo, there's PENGUINS in the lobby!!! well, i gotta go, im goin scuba divin with my newlywed husband. bye! p.s. i have good news: we now have 2 incomes in the cade household; besides my waitress/singer job, johnny just got a part-time job workin @ the DX with soda & steve! yay!

the last night

well tonight's the eve, its the last night. cause tomorrow, johnny & i are gona get married, & nothin will ever be the same. the gang, particularly pony, is crazy nervous. i know why pony's nervous, cause he's johnny's best man, but kitkat seems fine(she's my bridesmaid). darry's readin the vows, bubblegum's gonna be the flower girl, & soda, good old sodapop, said that he's gonna be the ring bearer, which is realy funny cause usualy, the ring bearer is like 5 or 6, but soda's about to turn 17! haha! i got to see my wedding dress, & it's just GORGEOUS(the guys won't let johnny read my blog since i say what my dress looks like)!!! it looks like it came out of a fairy tale, & for my veil, there's a tiara attached to the veil, so i put the tiara on, & the veil just goes over my face in the process. bubblegum said that "for my hair, it'll be curled, then pulled up in this gorgeous updo, with a few curls comin out of the updo to frame my face with the veil", which i forgot to mention, the veil has just HUNDREDS of little rhinestones coverin the back(not the part by my face). it's supposed to be like that, since the wedding's supposed to be @ night, under the stars, the light from the stars will catch onto the diamond necklace(my mother's, she's ok with the marriage now) & the rhinestones on my veil & dress. after the ceremony, since its just a little wedding, we'll go back to my house, & steve will play "tell me soon" for the traditional wedding dance between johnny & i, johnny & i will stuff cake into each other's faces, i'll throw my bouquet(a lot of my middle-class & greaser-girl friends are comin), johnny will throw my garter(he's super-embarrassed about that, & the gang will be the only guys there), & for our "honeymoon", my parents surprised johnny & i with two plane tickets, money, & hotel-suite passes to go to hawaii for 2 weeks! my dad has a friend who works in this fancy hotel in honolulu, so his friend pulled a few strings so his friend's daughter & her newlywed husband(a.k.a. me & johnny) can have a honeymoon. well, thats all the deets on the wedding, johnny & i already packed for the 2-week trip, & as soon as i get access to a computer @ the hotel, i'll talk all about my wedding!!! now, i gotta go & make dinner for johnny & i. i wonder what i'll make tonight...maybe breakfast for dinner, with eggs & bacon & toast...

confessions & beating

well its rosy, or as I should say, miss rose violet white! yup, i got my name legaly changed from rosalina violet white to rose violet white, & it'll be changed again in 2 days to rose violet cade! pony was askin me why i wanted to change my name to rose instead of rosalina. i told him that as ive mentioned b4, rosalina just sounded too fancy, too SOCY for a greaser girl. he still doesn't get it. oh well, johnny & i moved into our new house on wednesday! the day didn't end as nice as we thought, though. i walked into biology, my last class of the day(i have almost all my classes with johnny), & i got passed a note by this nice middle-class girl(since my dad's business took off about a month ago, im about middle-class now)while takin notes on cell reproduction or sumthin like that. it said, "so wats the plan on gettin our stuff 2 the house aftr school? -johnny" i wrote back, "my house 1st, then we'll go 2 urs if ur parents aren't home. we might have 2 tell them 2day tho.", & passed it. i got the note bac, but before i could read it, *swoosh*, it got taken out of my hand, & i looked up to see my biology teacher, mr.gomez. "ms.white, mr.cade, i would like to kno what is SO important that it couldn't wait until class is over. ...go on, tell the class what you 2 were discussing, or shall i read the note?" "um....um, we were....." johnny stuttered as mr.gomez interupted. "fine, i will read the note since mr.cade is incapable of telling the class,", & he started to read the note, but he stopped, & said, "you 2, stay after class. i need to have a word with you BOTH." all the color just drained from johnny's face. after class, we went up to his desk, & he said, "johnny, rosalina, i was reading that note, & there are 2 things i would like to ask the both of you. 1st, the 'house'," he said, with this grimace on his face. "this is a guess but...are you two living together? i know that you are not related, but i have heard other things that students have been discussing and.....they said that you two were engaged. is that true?" i glanced at johnny, who looked more terrified than ive ever seen him. i answered, "...yes, that rumor is true, johnny proposed to me a few weeks ago, & the wedding is supposed to be this sunday. we were discussing the house because our friends got us a house, & we were going to move in today." mr.gomez looked very shocked, & said, "very well, that is none of my business, so I won't pry anymore. but, the 2nd thing is that you, rosalina, said 'if your parents aren't home' & 'might have to tell them today'. is there something about johnny's parents that 1 of you would tell me?" johnny's dark eyes got real big & scared at that, NO ONE at the school needs to find out what they do to him. he shook his head franticaly, sayin, "NO, no, nothing is the problem." mr.gomez looked suspicious, then got this look like, 'you're hiding something', & said, "johnny, please take off your jacket." we stopped rite there, because we knew that it would blow our cover. you see, johnny got beat by his dad a week ago, & it wasn't SO bad, like hospital-bad, but he still has bruises all on his arms. johnny sighed, & took off his jacket. mr.gomez gasped, & I kno why: johnny had a large cut running down his arm from his elbow to his wrist, & his arms were decorated with bruises. the teacher couldn't speak, but finaly he said, "mr.cade, you may go, there's 1 more thing i need to ask ms.white." johnny bolted from the room, but i knew he wouldn't leave without me. "ms.white," he began, but i stopped him, sayin, "don't tell ANYONE what happens to johnny. *sigh* he's a wreck, anyone would be with parents like his. i remember 1nce our friend, ponyboy, said that there was only 3 things johnny wanted in life: for the gang to never stop bein there for him, for me to never stop lovin him, & for his parents to care about him. he will always have 2 of those 3 things in his life, but his parents will never stop & care about him. its sad....but don't feel pity for johnny or give him special treatment just cause you know about his parents. when we go get his stuff, & he tells his parents 'hey, not only have i had a grlfriend for 2 months, but we're gettin married on sunday, & im movin in with her today, so bye!', they'll beat him till he cries, & they'll probly beat me, too. ...but its a price to pay for stayin with my soulmate, no matter his flaws. .....just keep it to yourself, no one needs to know." & with that note, I left the classroom, & went home with johnnycake. we got my stuff & dropped it off @ our house. then we went to johnny's house. we got his stuff realy fast, but when we came downstairs to leave, there were his parents. "*gulp* uh, mom, dad?" johnny started, shakin more by the second. "this..this is rose, my..my grlfriend. um....i proposed to her 2 weeks ago, &...the wedding's this saturday. so...im movin out to..to live with her." .....i was rite. johnny's dad threw him against the wall, screamin curses @ his son. i couldn't watch, but I could hear: "rose..rosy, get out." i didn't have a chance, cause then johnny slumped to the floor, knocked out, blood runnin down his face from hittin the wall. johnny's parents advanced on me, & i was punched, kicked, slapped. johnny's mother slapped me repeatedly, sayin, "you're no bettr than him, you're just another worthless piece of shit! another damn piece of shit! did he steal our money to buy his princess her ring? DID HE?!?!" she shrieked, finaly hittin me so hard i could taste blood. i managed to say, "n..no....just...dont hurt...john..johnny...damn..damn drunk...", barely able to speak from the pain & the blood gatherin in my mouth from bein slapped. after callin his mom a damn drunk, she slapped me so hard, like a 1000 knives. i screamed from the pain, & i heard johnny yell, "GET...OFF...HER!!!" suddenly, I couldn't see or hear, & the world turned black. .........i woke up in the curtis' house, & i heard soda say, "johnny, rose just woke up." i could hear dally cursin, sayin, "its...its bad enough that johnny's folks beat him, but for them to beat rosy...." pony filled me in, & basicaly, they went to our house to see if johnny & i needed help, & when we weren't there, darry got worried & said, "we're goin to johnny's house, i have a bad feelin that they're there." they walked in, & they saw me lyin there, bruises all over my neck & slap marks covered with blood all over my face, blood comin from my mouth, & johnny sittin beside me, tear stains mingling with the bruises & cuts on his face, arms, everywhere. dally said, "johnny....kid, they DID NOT beat you 2..." then steve lost it, "what the HELL did they do, johnny?! what did those drunks do to hurt rosy SO DAMN BAD?! she doesn't deserve that, doesn't deserve bein BEAT by 2 DAMN PIECES OF SHIT!!!!!!" johnny just choked out, "they...hit...me....got....knocked......out....
slapped...her....screamed....called 'em.....damn....drunks.....passed....out...." in between sobs. they carried me to the curtis' house, & cleaned up the blood & everythin, then after a few hours, i woke up. the guys don't kno how im feelin ok enuff to type, but they let me & johnny go home. i calmed johnny down, cause he was cryin & sayin, "bad enough i get beat, but you.." its super-late, so im goin to bed, i think johnny turned in about an hr ago, idk. bye!

together forever

mmm, last nite will be 1 of my best memories, i just kno it. i was rite, johnny came in about 10 min after i posted last nite(& yes, we're movin into the new house on wednesday), & we were just layin on my bed, talkin & smokin. it was kinda funny, just sittin there & talkin like friends. so, i said, "it was real nice of the gang to get us that house." he just laid bac & closed his eyes. i took a long drag on my weed, just thinkin. he finaly turned to look @ me & said, "yeah, its perfect. .....i love you, rose. more than anything." "i know, i love you, too, johnnycake. more than anything." then he kissed me, not like he ever kissed me before. whenever he had kissed me before, it felt cautious, as if he was half-pullin away, but this time, it felt perfect, like he never wanted to stop, never pull away. i kissed him back, his lips moving with mine, his full, soft lips. it went on, & i began to think if we should go farther. i traced my hands down his stomach, stopping at the button on his jeans. he got an idea of what i was thinkin, & stopped for a second. he said, "rose? i-i don't know, maybe we shouldn't....." "don't worry, johnny. we belong together, forever. no one will know...." i waited, breathless as to what his answer would be. he finaly sighed, but it didn't sound like he was giving in, it sounded content, as if there was nowhere else in the world he wanted to be. "together, forever." he repeated, & proceeded to give me my answr by takin off his shirt & kissin me harder & faster than before. so the answer is yes, i thought, ...maybe its the wrong time, i know, but this is johnny, & i love him. ......i woke up this morning snuggled next to johnny, listening to his heartbeat as he slept. i saw that it was about time to get ready for school. funny, i lose my virginity, & the first thing i think the next morning is that its time for school. i shook johnny gently, & he sat up straight, sayin, "what? im tired & i wanna sleep." "good mornin, johnnycake. rise & shine, we're goin next door for breakfast, if you get ready fast." he looked over, & smiled when he saw me, despite the dark shadows underneath his eyes from lack of sleep. "hey, rose. have i tell you yet today that i love you?" i laughed at his drowsy comment, replying, "why no, not yet silly, you just woke up." "ok then, i want you to know that i love you very much, & by the way: good morning!" he replied, his dark eyes sparkling with delight. he kissed me, soft and sweet, sayin, "there's your good morning kiss. do i get one?" i laughed, never having seen him so happy & light, makin comments that didn't sound @ all like him. i gave him a kiss back, replying, "there's yours. now, how 'bout we get..." i stopped, & johnny looked puzzled as my face went from cheerful to frightened. "i hear footsteps coming up the stairs....shit!" i said. "my mom's comin! dammit, she's paranoid! quick, put your jeans back on & sneak out the window, i'll signal you when she's gone!" johnny dashed out of my bed like there was a fire, & did what i had asked him 2 do. my mom came in as soon as he had gotten out of sight, glaring. "oh, hi mom." i said, eager for her to leave so johnny could come back. "i was just checking on you, making sure you were getting ready.....is that boy in here? he seems to like your company so much that i never know if he leaves." my mom said coldly. "no, im goin next door for breakfast, he's meeting me there." "oh really, then what's that?" she retorted, pointing @ a handle of some sort on the floor. i picked it up & my heart sank: it was johnny's switchblade. "oh, this is his, he came over yesterday to study, & i think it fell out of his pocket." i said, lying so fluently i almost believed it myself. "well alrite then, since you're going next door for breakfast, have a good day @ school." she said, & immediatly left my room. johnny crawled back through my window, & said, "man, that could've been bad if we got caught, she doesn't like me much already." "never mind her, she's gone. now, where were we?" johnny's eyes lit up again, & said, "well, i dunno, so lets start over, shall we?" he gave me another kiss as he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer. "good morning!" we laughed together, our voices mingling to create this beautiful sound. we got ready & went next door, laughing & talking as we came in. everybody got real quiet when we came in, & suddenly two-bit yelled, "well, did you two have fun last night? sure sounded like it!" pony bit his lip & sat down, & soda had this look like, "shut up, man, just leave 'em alone". i spoke up & retorted, "we weren't doin nuthin, two-bit mathews, so you can just shut ur trap, alrite?" steve spoke up, sayin, "you're lyin, rosy, & we all know cause we could hear ya'll last night, these walls aren't very thick, & neither is your window. havin' fun last nite?", grinning like he knew this big secret. johnny's face turned bright red, & im guessin mine did too, cause darry said, "just leave 'em alone, two-bit, & you too, little man, you'll give johnny a heart attack." everyone went back to whatever they were doin, & that was that. pony, johnny, & i walked to school together(johnny's been goin to school more since we started dating, probly so he can see me more), & it was super-awkward. other than that, there's nuthin else i realy got to say, so im gonna go hang out with pony, maybe catch a movie or sumthin. later!

good & bad surprises

hiya its rosy. johnny & i got a nice surprise today, cause I came home from the hospital today. the tests were all fine, but the doctor was under rules, & I couldn't be released so quickly after JUST gettin my memory back, so i was told since the tests said my head was fine, i could leave the next day. johnny spent the night @ the hospital, @ 1st the doctor wouldn't allow it. At about 11, the nurse came in, & seeing johnny, said, "young man, you need to leave. i kno u spend the whole day in here with rosalina, but she needs some sleep." she let him stay though, after i begged her, sayin, "please let him stay, he has nowhere else 2 go, & nowhere else he wants to be than with me. please?" hehe that works everytime. but the nice surprise, or the 2 nice surprises, was that when johnny took me 2 ponyboy's house, the gang surprised us by sayin that our wedding was NOT goin 2 be february 16, that they moved it 2 feb. 1! soda explained it as, "so much bad stuff has happened 2 you guys, so we thought that b4 n e else happens, you guys should have your wedding, so you can just stop worrying about bein jumped cause an ex-soc got engaged 2 a greaser, & finaly just get married." so im gonna be Mrs. Rose Violet Cade in 6 days.(im gettin my name legally changed to rose aftr the wedding) & to top it off, the gang had anothr surprise: they got us a house!!! its this small-sized house, with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, & bathroom, just big enough for 2. its alredy got furniture, too. the kitchen's got a stove & everything, there's a tv & couch in the living room, & the biggest surprise: the bedroom is decorated to look like the night sky, "its as if you two are back in the lot, just like that 1st night", as pony described it. there's a catch, though: bein greasers, the gang doesn't have NEARLY enough money to buy the house, but the man sellin the house was so nice(after hearin the situation that johnny & i were in, of course), that he decided that we could pay him $5 every month 4 rent, instead of just payin off the house. so johnny & i r movin into the house in a couple of days, probly on wednesday. its perfect, i wouldn't trade the house for the world. ponyboy brought up a MAJOR problem when we were goin to his house: JOHNNY'S PARENTS. as soon as he said that, everything went dead silent, & johnny's face went pale instantly. dal said, "dammit, ponyboy, johnny just got over rosy bein in the hospital, & now you gotta give him more worries, dontcha?" its good that he brought that up, though, none of us thought of that. johnny's parents will literaly KILL him if they figure out, not only has he had a girlfriend for 2 months, almost 3, but that he proposed to her, he got married, & that he's moving out to live with her. they can't find out, they just can't. i can't even begin to think about what his mom would do, let alone his dad. if they beat him for marrying me, i will single-handedly kill them, no doubt. i will. well, im goin to sleep, but i know johnny will be in my room in like 10 min, so i might not. bye!
