jumped

hey this is actualy ponyboy. um rosy can't post....aw, i can't put it off. you all kno how rosy said she & johnny were goin 4 a walk 3 days ago? ........they got jumped by bob & some othr socs. they didn't hurt johnny as bad as last time, he just has some cuts & bruises. but....bob got rosy real bad. oh here's johnny i'll let him type. hey its johnny. im not real bad off, i got a lot of cuts on my arms & stuff, but im ok. here's wat happened: rose & i were takin a walk, as she said 3 days ago. we got jumped by that guy rose used 2 date, bob, & a bunch of othr socs. i remembr they threw me down, there was bob & 3 othrs. the 3 pinned me down & started punching me & tryin 2 get me w/ a blade. but bob said, "you 3, deal w/ that trash. i have a score w/ miss rosy the ex-socy." then rose had this terrified look on her face, & bob was all like, "so, heard ur gonna marry that filthy greaser. wat, so you ditch me to marry that filthy trash?" my switch fell out of my pocket, & rose picked it up. i kno now if she had 2 use it, she would. she said, "i was nevr happy w/ you, bob, & i nevr would be, even i stayed a soc. if u hurt him beyond last time, i swear, i will kill you, & it'll be so fast, you won't have time to scream. im thru, you dirty son of a b****." & she lunged @ him, & gave him a giant gash thru his shoulder. i kno that was a big mistake. he...he grabbed her by the neck, & slammed her head into the alley wall behind her. it made this big crack, & I knew she was knocked out, i saw her eyes roll bac into her head, & she collapsed. bob took my switch, & i knew he was gonna kill her. luckily, i don't kno how, but i got the othr guys off me, & i grabbed bob from behind, & started choking him, while screaming for the guys. the gang heard me, & when they saw rose, they just blew up, cause rosy's like everyone's sister. pony went crazy, he started attacking bob, screamin, "YOU DON'T TOUCH HER!!!!!!" i was just in shock ovr the whole thing. the socs ran off, with bob yellin, "i'll get you, filthy greasers!!! next time, she'll be alone! Next time, i'll kill your precious rose!!!" pony, soda, even dally, EVERYONE went nuts, yellin, "Rosy! Rosy! ROSY, WAKE UP! ROOOSY!" there was blood all over, still comin from her head. when they saw that, they were screamin, "darry, call 911 NOW! get an ambulance, rosy's DYING!!!" we got her to the hospital, & darry called the police to tell them about the assault. the socs, me, & maybe rose, if she recovers, have 2 appear in court next friday, cause me & the gang r pressin charges. rose has been in the hospital since then, actualy that's where i am, rosy's nurse is lettin me use the computer. i haven't left the hospital @ all, i spend every minute in her hospital room. she hasn't woken up since that nite. the doctor says that "she'll live, no doubt, but her head got slammed pretty hard, so there's a large chance that she will have amnesia for who knos how long, or her brain could've been damaged." i feel horrible, i kno its my fault. if i didn't propose, then we wouldn't be engaged, & the socs wouldn't have jumped her for that reason. pony's just a wreck, he's here almost as much as me, & every time he sees rose just lying there, with this big bloody bandage around her head, he just starts bawling. ive been crying too. everyone has, darry, soda, kitkat, bubblegum, two-bit, even steve & dally. darry called rosy's parents, too, to tell them. they came bac that same nite. they were just like, "where is our daughter?!?!" then they saw me. her mom was like, "YOU! You're that boy who always comes over to see rosalina! YOU caused this by seeing her!!!" her dad said, "now now bridget, it isn't this young man's fault, its the fault of the kids who attacked them. ah, johnny, isn't it? *sigh* my little rosy loves you dearly, with all her heart." but then he took me aside & said. "when darrel told us about the assault on you & rose, he also told me, only me, not her mother, that you had proposed to my daughter, & she accepted. *sigh* he said that she loves you more than the universe can hold, or as you said, 'more than romeo could have ever loved juliet'. .....being a father, this is hard for me to say, but i can see, from your actions, that you love her the same. therefore, i give you 2 my blessing. love her as she loves you. make her life wonderful." it was cool, sort of. i gotta go, i need to see rose. me & the gang will come on here to talk about rose's condition, say if she's gettin better. k, now im gone.
